The Parkland formula uses the total body surface area (TBSA) burned to estimate the amount of fluid required to resuscitate a burns patient in the first 24 hours.
TBSA burned
Fluid = 4 × Weight × TBSA burned

Give half over the first eight hours and then half over the second sixteen hours.
