Overview
Patients with acute stroke - ischaemic or haemorrhagic - may develop ECG findings that mimic an acute myocardial infarction, in the abscence of significant cardiovascular disease.
ECG Findings in Acute Stroke
- Tachycardia
- ST depression
- Prolonged QT interval
- T wave changes - flattening / inversion
- Prominent U waves
