Relocation Test

Overview
The relocation test should be performed if the apprehension test is positive.
Test For
- Anterior subluxation of the glenohumeral joint.
How to Perform
- Apply a posteriorly directed force to the anterior humerus, as if to relocate the glenohumeral joint.
Abnormal If
- Fowler's sign - relief of apprehension associated with the apprehension test.
