Overview

    • How to Measure

    • Bend the patient's knee to 90 degrees, gently grasp both sides of the knee joint and palpate within the popliteal fossa posteriorly.
    • Causes of Absent Pulse

    • Trauma

    • Abdominal aortic aneurysm
    • Shock
