ECG Findings in Pericardial Effusion
- Sinus tachycardia
- Low voltage (reduced QRS amplitude)
- Electrical alternans - variation of the QRS amplitude between beats (thought to be due to swinging of the heart while suspended in fluid)
- A low voltage ECG trace
