    • Causes of Normal / Elevated TSH with Elevated T4

    • TSH secreting pituitary tumour
    • Thyroid hormone resistance
    • Acute psychiatric illness
    • Drugs - amiodarone, heparin
    • Familial dysalbuminaemic hyperthyroxinaemia
    • Assay interference
