    • Look For

    • Extra-articular fracture of the distal radius with compression and volar angulation (essentially a reverse Colles fracture).
    • Mechanism

    • Fall onto a flexed wrist.
  • Colle's and Smith fractures are similar to Barton's fracture, differentiated by that the former are extra-articular and the latter is intra-articular.
