Look For
- Extra-articular fracture of the distal radius with impaction and dorsal displacement.
Mechanism
- Fall on outstretched hand (FOOSH).
Colle's and Smith fractures are similar to Barton's fracture, differentiated by that the former are extra-articular and the latter is intra-articular.
