Cabot Rings
A cabot ring is a basophilic loop seen within red blood cells, made up of mitotic spindle remnants.
Causes of Cabot Ring
- Megaloblastic anaemia - B12 / folate deficiency, drugs
- Myelodysplastic syndrome
- Myelofibrosis
