- Tubular outlines of the smaller airways.
Significance
- Appear when the alveoli surrounding the airway collapse or are filled with fluid.
Causes of Air Bronchograms
- Pneumonia
- Atelectasis
- Pulmonary oedema
- Acute respiratory distress syndrome
- Bronchoalveolar carcinoma
