Valgus Stability Test (Elbow)

Overview

    • Test For

    • Ligamentous laxity, especially of the ulnar collateral ligament.
    • How to Perform

    • With the elbow in 90° of flexion, hold the distal forearm with one hand and gently stress the lateral aspect of the elbow joint with the other.
    • Abnormal If

    • Increased laxity of the joint.
