- Creamy white lesions present on the tongue or inner cheeks, which may be associated with angular cheilitis or glossitis.
Significance
- Infection with Candida species.
Risk Factors
- Dry mouth
- Inhaled steroids
- Immunosuppression
- Antibiotic use
- Smoking
- Diabetes
