Causes of Hyperpigmentation
- Dermatoses - ephelides (freckles), melanocytosis
- Post-inflammatory - sunlight exposure (tan), dermatitis, infection, trauma
- Haemochromatosis
- Alcoholic liver disease
- Cirrhosis
- Renal failure
- Cutaneous amyloidosis
