Cozen’s Test

Overview

  • Cozen's test is used to assess for lateral epicondylitis (also known as 'tennis elbow').
    • How to Perform

    • With the elbow extended, the forearm pronated and the hand in a fist, ask the patient to extend and radially deviate their wrist against resistance.
    • Abnormal If

    • Pain over the lateral epicondyle.
