Overview

  • How to Assess

  • Ask the patient to adduct their hip (medially, into the midline), and then relax the joint as it is adducted passively.
  • Muscles Involved

  • Pectineus; adductor longus, brevis and magnus; gracilis, pectineus.
  • Normal Range of Motion

  • Active - 20°
  • Passive - 25°
  • Myotome

  • L2 / L3Obturator Nerve
