  • Mechanism of Action

  • Synthetic prostaglandin E1, which stimulates myometrial contraction and expulsion of foetal tissue.

  • Contraindications
  • Bleeding disorder / anticoagulants
  • Uncertainty about age of pregnancy
  • Suspected ectopic pregnancy

  • Dizziness
  • Nausea / vomiting / diarrhoea
