  • Inhibits L-type calcium channels on ventricular myocardial, cardiac nodal and arteriolar smooth muscle cells.
  • Pharmacology

  • Selectively inhibits calcium channels on arteriolar smooth muscle cells, resulting in significant vasodilation without cardiodepression.
