  • Insulin is an hormone normally produced by pancreatic beta cells that is responsible for regulation of glucose, fat and protein metabolism.

Clinical Use

  • Indications
  • Bolus dosing for type I or II diabetes
  • Insulin infusion for perioperative hyperglycaemic management
  • Insulin infusion for diabetic ketoacidosis
