    • Inhibits T-type calcium channels in the thalamus, preventing propagation of action potentials and thus suppressing seizure activity

Clinical Use

    • Indication
    • Absence seizures.
    • Adverse Effects
    • Nausea / vomiting
    • CNS disturbances – drowsiness, headache, ataxia
