Mechanism of Action
- Combines both oxytocin and an ergot alkaloid, which stimulate contraction of uterine and vascular smooth muscle.

- Prevention and treatment of postpartum haemorrhage due to atonic uterus

- Severe hypertension / eclampsia / preeclampsia
- Peripheral vascular disease / ischaemic heart disease
