Mechanism of Action
- Binds to ergosterol on the cell membrane, resulting in the formation of pores, leakage of cytoplasmic components and cell death.
Microbiology
- Effective against Candida, Cryptococcus and Aspergillus.

- Infusion reactions - fevers, rigors, arthralgias, hypotension, bronchospasm
- Nephrotoxicity
