The Upper Limb Neuro Exam

 
 
When performing an upper limb neurological exam it is important to attempt to localise where the patient's lesion is - within the brain, the spinal cord or the peripheral nervous system. Knowledge of anatomy combined with an attentive examination will assist with this.
